Undergraduate industrial placement within a manufacturing facility producing axles and transmissions for articulated trucks. The role combined production engineering, automation support, inspection systems and manufacturing-data reporting.

• Supported the facility vision-system infrastructure, including software testing and image-inference improvements.
• Provided operational and technical support for a collaborative robot deployed at pre-delivery inspection.
• Produced and maintained standard work, SFMEAs, PFMEAs and control plans.
• Prepared weekly and monthly reports covering efficiency, first-test pass and facility throughput.
• Maintained facility layouts using AutoCAD.
• Designed 3D-printed and fabricated components for use in production.
• Responded to high-priority IT tickets during line-down situations and supported root-cause corrective actions.
• Routinely used SAP for BOM's and material tracking
